Along with being an active performer, I am very passionate about teaching.  Before moving to the USA, I worked as a violin teacher for Odessa State Music Academy in Ukraine. After I moved in to the USA I started to work for Community Music School at the Southeastern Louisiana University as violin and viola teacher as well as a teacher for different ensembles.

Currently I am accepting new violin/viola students, level beginners, intermediate and advanced. I offer individual lessons to students of ALL ages and abilities. It's never too late to start! Playing violin, viola or any instruments requires commitment and dedication at any age, it doesn't happen in one week, but it's worth the effort many times. You’ll see that playing music not only adds beauty to your life, but also takes away a lot of pressure and stress.

I understand that everybody is different. Some want to take exams, others want to play for fun, some want to play on their own, others want to do chamber music, join an orchestra. I will teach you exactly the sort of music you'd like to play and the pieces which are going to help you to achieve your personal goal in playing.

Lessons can take place at your home or my private studio.

I will do my best to schedule lessons for the days and times that are best for you. Lessons can be conducted on any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday.

In addition to confirming the time and frequency of the lessons, I can also advise you on the instruments, music books and anything else you will need to get the most from every lesson.

If you have never played any musical instrument or just don’t know how to read music I will provide music theory lessons for you as well.
